New Year~New Blog!

Happy 2012! Welcome to my brand new blog~dedicated to my new beginning to the craft world!
Let me introduce myself~
Im Angie:stay at home  Mom, or as I like to put it Domestic Goddess.I have 2 growing girls. The 17 year old and the 12 year old.
*The 17 year old aka the Princess~is my scholar, she loves to read, absorbs info like its chocolate, sits and tries to beat the players on Jeopardy kinda kid.Youd think she'd be a card carrying geek, but no, she is a card carrying nerdinista lol. She loves fashion, new trends,jewelery,makeup,hats...and the time she spends on her nails! Picasso would be proud!  So in addition to being wicked smart, she is always pretty fashionably dressed as well. She is in  almost every group our small school offers, from FBLA to STUCCO to FFA. She plays basketball, softball and track, with softball being her favorite.
*The 12 year old,aka the Jellybean~she is also a smart kid(both are A honor roll girls),she is very creative, an artist really.I never know what she is making with boxes, paper, clay...since she was a very lil thing and would pull all the cans out of the cabinet and arrange them on patterns on the kitchen floor.
~side note:some would find that a bit creepy...and sometimes I did !~
She loves comic books, her favorites  being of the Marvel kind with an emphasis on Thor.As my hubs is an avid collector and has been since childhood~WE GOT COMICS! As she is just a 7th grader, she is in as many groups as she is allowed, plays basketball, runs track and is a Jr, High Cheerleader~yep she got spirit!
The hubs and I have been married for a little over 17 years. We were friends all through school, Prom King and Queen and decided one day we were in love and should get married and live happily ever after soooo we have! I am so very very blessed! He works all day as a field superintendent and he also farms with his Dad and Uncle. I am left at home to raise kids, keep house and cook~all things I love!
I have been an online crafter for several years,as a PRIM gal. You may have known me with Angies Raggedy Patch or Dudleys Corner Primitives, but as my punkins keep getting older,I kept feeling a need for color~there is not a lot of color in primitives...and maybe its a grasp at being young again, but I feel the need for color!
I also feel a need to save money, as college will be just around the corner, and my girls still want the hip cool clothes and accessories,so my crafting is turning towards that. Bringing color back into my life, my home and my kids. This blog is the start of an all new color of me!
I will do my very best to post every day. I hope to offer many tutorials, cause I have learned a few things over the years~and I hope to share my creations made from YOUR ideas. I look forward to meeting all of you! Feel free to post your comments. I am a pretty head strong gal, so my feelings wont be hurt. If you hate it, say so! It may help me in the long run!

 Welcome to our lives!
